The Du Guxin Multi-sided Seal is one of the rare examples of regular script seals from ancient China. Discovered in 1981, it features 14 inscribed faces. The seal measures 4.5 cm in height and 4.35 cm in width, made from carbon stone. It has an octagonal polyhedral shape with 26 engraved surfaces of varying sizes, including 14 square faces.

Each face bears inscriptions in regular script (kaishu), using intaglio carving (yinwen), and the calligraphy is powerful and upright, rich in the stylistic charm of Wei dynasty script. This seal served multiple functions, as indicated by its numerous inscriptions. As a significant physical artifact, it provides valuable insights into the official seal system of the Northern Dynasties.
